Festival of Small Halls

The Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival Inc. is proud to be a part of the Autumn Festival of Small Halls Australia tour!

The Dorrigo Showground, home to the JH Davis Memorial Pavilion is nestled on the edge of our small rural town, closely cradled by World Heritage listed Gondwana rainforests and cascading waterfalls. For over 70 years years the main pavilion has been witness to prize plum puddings, jams, local produce and rural delights, to flowers and creative arts, fine embroidery and needlework. To exhibits from schoolchildren and community reflecting the changes of passing time.

When it rains at the Show, everyone heads for shelter there and many lasting friendships have been made. Markets, dances, balls and celebrations are held in the pavilion and for the last 19 years the pavilion has been the main concert hall for the annual Folk and Bluegrass Festival.

J H Davis Memorial Hall stands on lands traditionally owned by the Gumaynggirr people.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Dorrigo on Saturday, 10 April 2021 with Bobby Alu and This Way North.
Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
