Big Basket Weaving Workshop

Ribbed basketry is a technique that yields beautiful and strong round-bottom baskets. As you learn to use basic basket-making tools and materials, you will weave your own ribbed basket using hoop construction and 4-point lashing. I will teach you how to make cordage, form the ribs and then weave and evenly shape your basket. You will take home your completed basket at the end of the two-day workshop.
