Dorrigo Seed Savers aim to develop a network of home gardeners who grow heritage and non-hybrid food varieties. Our goal is to save and distribute locally adapted, non-hybrid seed and plant material with the Dorrigo community.
We focus on vegetables and herbs as well as plants that are propagated by tubers, cuttings, rhizomes, and bulbs. We want to adapt varieties to local conditions and promote the practice of seed saving and the importance of conserving diversity in our food crops.
We have a Facebook Page and a Facebook Group you can join for advice. Seed is for sale at Dandarrga Nursery.
